James Andrew
Craig, VMD, MA
February 7, 1941 October 10, 2002
Throughout our lives, many people
will come and go. Every so often we are fortunate enough to have someone pass through our
lives that impacts us in some memorable way. For many, that someone was Jim Craig. What a
life! He was a father, a friend, a veteran, a veterinarian, a mentor; he was a good soul.
Beneath the tough guy exterior was a kind, gentle man. Though his absence has been
difficult and certainly left a void, our lives have been touched, and we are all better
for knowing him.
His was a life full of stories;
those who knew him most certainly have a story to share. Rather than go through his
numerous accomplishments, we would prefer to share those that would have meant the most to
him. If you have a Dr. Craig story, please forward it to us and well add it to our
site to share with those who were also touched by his life.

A Message from Dr. Craig's Daughters
"Our dad was our loving father,
our hero, our guide, our friend, our supporter, and our mentor. He was an excellent
veterinarian and surgeon who truly loved his patients and clients."
"We appreciate the vast outpouring of support from all of you. He is missed by
all and will be in our hearts forever."
- Suzanne & Michele Craig
